The Private Client Department consists of Mary Liddy, who is head of department, and Victoria Methven who are both solicitors and their secretary Mandy Mayes.

Both Mary and Vicki deal with the administration of estates - obtaining grant of probate when the deceased left a will and letters of administration when they did not. We can deal with the whole process from informing the bank and other asset holders through to preparing estate accounts showing the monies received in and paid out and the ultimate distribution of the estate. Our view is that the bereaved family should have the option of dealing with as much or as little as they wish so we will also deal with practical matters such as arranging for properties to be cleared if required. We are also happy to advise clients generally about the process.
