Following ten years with a leading Life Assurance company, Jim McGown moved to a specialist Financial Services recruitment agency where for nine years he was very successful in recruiting for a number of high street banks and building societies, as well as national and provincial IFA practices. He formed Revie Consulting in 2009 initially offering Search and Selection services to clients within the regulated Financial Services sector, who needed to recruit financial advisers, para planners and other support staff. Clients include major banking and building society institutions, national and regional Independent Financial Adviser firms (IFA), as well as IFA practices owned by professional Chartered Accountancy and Law firms.

In 2010, Roy Wicks who had previously had many years experience in branch management with two leading Life Assurance companies, and with IFA Networks and Support Service organisations, joined to develop business service propositions to the IFA market.
