Moving into the steel security market in the eighties at the time of the tragic Toxteth Riots.

A lot of shops at this time were secured with RENROH's Sliding Grille System, a product more typically associated with the industrial sector.
Not wanting the business to remain stagnant, an opportunity arose to provide Perimeter Security Fencing to Wavertree Technology Park. David developed a quick erect fencing system called Renlock Speed Fencing, and set about manufacturing and installing over a mile of fenceline.
