Removals York was founded in 2004 using "Hayley" our ford transit van (left picture). Our owner Sam had bought Hayley to use for his new enterprise installing aerials and satellites. However after being diagnosed with vertigo Sam was stuck with a white van and no job. He decided to try courier work. Removals York was born.
Struggling to make the courier business work Sam's partner Zoe suggested advertising deliveries on the Facebook selling pages. As no one was offering this service we were soon snowed under with customers as our reputation for reliability & good value spread. We then started receiving inquiries for House Removals. York Removals then purchased "Big Blue" (center left) to cope with this demand. 6m on and demand growing we purchased our 2nd luton the LDV (center right). 12 months on and the house removals were growing.
