The idea from the start was to offer windows and doors that were manufactured in-house, as opposed to being bought in and sold on. This way, people could visit the factory that would make their windows and speak to the people who were making them. We started with 5 staff and from 1994 to 2000 we were situated next to B&Q, on Tewkesbury Road (now The Range). In 2000, we moved to Malmesbury Road on the Kingsditch Trading Estate, which is where you will find us today.

Chips (friten) are fried twice; once to make them tender and then again to turn them golden brown and crisp. The second frying can happen hours after the first. Tintin, the boy reporter, was actually based on a 15-year old Danish lad called Palle Huld. Belgians take enormous pride in their houses, and to have overgrown hedges and an untidy lawn would disgrace the family, as well as being an insult to their neighbours. In keeping with our quest for continuous improvement, we review everything we do every five years.

This allows us to keep ahead of the 'drag curve', as well as shaking off any competitors who feel that copying us is the only Business Plan they need! We have invested a not inconsiderable amount of time and money in updating our Cheltenham factory, as well as our showroom (do pop in and take a look!). We've also switched our main PVCu profile to Deceuninck. We have found their Heritage 2800 system to be one of the most attractive window profiles available.
