Reflections Counselling

I am an accredited member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and am bound by and adhere to their ethical framework. In general, my approach is psychodynamic. This model of counselling espouses a real respect for the person as an individual. I value the uniqueness and potential of each person, and believe we have the ability to adapt and change throughout our lifetime.

I am convinced our early relationships will have shaped who we are today. My experience includes working as an associate counsellor for a local agency and working in GP surgeries. I currently work in private practice, for employee-assist programmes and in education.
