Kickboxing is a martial science. A hybrid syllabus comprising techniques and principles from systems all over the world, from both traditional and modern arts. Red Dragon Kickboxing students are educated using up to date methods.
Some kickboxers train for the obvious health and fitness benefits as martial arts training aims to improve endurance, explosiveness, balance, coordination and flexibility. There are those who take up kickboxing for experience at competition, from sparring with other students to competing at national tournaments.
Regardless of the motivating factor, kickboxers benefit from regular self defence training covering modern issues and situations increasing their chances of self preservation and minimisation of consequence in today's increasingly dangerous social climate.
