Raijin Martial Arts Academy is dedicated to providing people with life skills that can be used not only in our sport, but in everyday life. We teach sport karate and kickboxing classes at our full time studio in the heart of Inverness with classes for all ages, all fitness levels and all experiences in martial arts. Raijin Martial Arts Academy was formed in 2014 by Donald Macarthur & Gary Mackintosh after their Master, Jack Morley, passed away suddenly. In order to keep their martial arts community alive, they decided to take over the lease on their previous dojo premises and start up under the new club name. Raijin is named after their late instructor, friend and inspiration who was nicknamed the god of lightning and thunder.
Sensei Donald Macarthur and Sensei Gary Mackintosh have almost 20 years combined experience in martial arts and have been instructing classes for all ages since 2009. Both instructors have competed at International level, however are now focused on developing the skills of their students and creating World Class Athletes to fight on the National and International circuits.
