The people behind Radial Joinery are Lincoln homeowners Ian Metheringham and Rachel Morgan. If you work with Radial, you’re supporting a local family business who in turn employ local people. I have always worked with wood and love the material, in fact, the first bespoke carpentry I did was creating Christmas presents for my family as a child!

I took the traditional route of an NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery, serving my apprenticeship and working my way up in a local joinery company from bench joiner/machinist to foreman, eventually running the workshop and producing all the bespoke joinery for the company. I often worked on-site to fit windows, doors, stairs, etc and gained a lot of experience working in Grade 1 and Grade 2 listed buildings and with antique furniture, supplying items for furniture restorers. Over the years I’ve clocked-up thousands of hours on first and second fit joinery, fitted countless kitchens and working on many home renovations, taking immense pleasure in watching a building return to its former glory!
