My goal is to create a beautiful and intimate record of your wedding day. Using my experience as a documentary photographer, I tell the story of your wedding from beginning to end, including preparations, portraits, ceremony and reception. I work in an unobtrusive way, taking informal, natural portraits and spontaneous candids of you and your guests in order to capture all of the the emotion and beauty of your wedding day. My aesthetic combines a blend of fine-art photojournalism and portraiture that draws on 20 years of experience as an artist and photographer.
Rachel Movitz is an award winning documentary photographer, now based in Oxford, UK. She trained at the prestigious School of Visual Arts in New York City, where she received a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Photography. In 2000 she won a Fulbright Grant in Photography for travel to India, where she spent several years living and working on a documentary photography project.
