Senior partner Rosemary Smith has worked as a specialist medical accountant for over 15 years. Her role covers all aspects of work for the medical profession including GP practices, consultants, dentists, pharmacies, locums and specialist areas. She had a major involvement with contract negotiations for both GMS and PMS contracts, and latterly APMS contracts.
Rosemary's specialist knowledge of the medical services sector has led to her touring the country lecturing on various subjects from the new contract to superannuation, and providing training, nationally, on specific GP Accounts packages and VAT. In addition she has written for most of the major medical publications, most commonly Pulse.
She runs courses to help GP surgeries, for both doctors and practice managers, to maximise their profits and ensure they are producing the correct financial information, and has prepared practices to survive the current financial situation by helping them set up cash flows to safeguard their future.
