R.J.N. Security Systems

RJN Security is owned and operated by Russell Nicholls. I began my career in the Security Systems Industry as an Apprentice in 1999 for a company in Oxford. As part of my Apprentaship I studied for 3 years at a college in Uxbridge, on a day release scheme. Once I had completed my Advanced Modern Apprenticeship and gained my NVQ level 2 & 3, I felt the need to move to another company to relinquish the apprentice tag and accept more responsibility for my own Jobs. At this point I was given the opportunity to work on my own for the company and take full responsibility for jobs. So in 2001 I started working for a Company in Marlow, Buckinghamshire where i undertook a variety of roles which led me to be very versatile as i was fitting security systems to multi-million pound new build developments and also responsible for Corrective service visits to existing clients. Along with that I was also in a large part on my own responsible for maintaining over 1400 Alarm Systems. I served this Company for 12 years and was a large part in the growth of this Company, so much so that it was sold to a new owner in February 2012, where I continued to work a for further year before deciding to call it time.
