Q2Q was founded in 2004, following the parent company's acquisition of Viyella Ladies wear and The Tulchan Group (comprising SockShop, Jumper and Tulchan Wholesale).
Due to the no-nonsense and pragmatic approach to I.T, Q2Q were then invited to provide support and advisory services to the other (Harris Watson) group companies. The group as a whole had businesses ranging from military engineering through to luxury bespoke leather goods manufacturers and retailers, with many variations in between.
It soon became apparent that irrespective of the business sector, the SME market lacked pro-active, plain speaking I.T services with a "business first" approach. Despite technology becoming a greater part of every business, businesses were struggling to plan and manage it.
