Our training in the locksmith industry began with an apprenticeship in Bristol. This meant two years at the bench identifying locks, learning how they work and making keys from scratch to open them. During this time training was undertaken for some of the major safe manufacturers including Chubb Safes (now Gunnebo), Dudley Safes, SMP Security, Churchill Safes, Lampertz Safes, Securikey and Fichet Bauche to become an approved contractor. Further training and approval was achieved to work on Ministry of Defence (MoD) sites.
