Psychologie Ltd was formed with the aim of continuing to provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment for adults with mental health problems. I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with nineteen years experience in the NHS and have been working in private practice since 2007.
I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 2002. I trained at the Salomons Centre in Kent. Prior to my training I worked in the NHS gaining experience in mental health, for example in psychiatric hospitals and in a therapeutic community for adults with personality disorder.
During my training I worked in various areas of the NHS such as with children, adults with learning disabilities, and older people. However my chosen specialty was adult mental health, and since qualifying I have remained in this area. I have worked in a psychotherapy service, a Community Mental Health Team, two secure hospitals for women and a community residential setting for women with personality disorders.
