Paul has around 30 years experience as an accountant and the following gives some idea of his professional background. Paul's foundation years were working for a practice of Chartered Accountants, Wenn Townsend & Company in Oxford, from 1983 - 1986, where he was employed as a Trainee Chartered Accountant and gained his professional qualifications. Then from 1986 - 1992, Paul worked for Arthur Young / Ernst & Young, in Reading and Swindon (one of the 'big four' international firms of Chartered Accountants), where he progressed from his initial role as Chartered Accountant/Qualified Senior, to Supervisor, to Assistant Manager and then to Audit & Business Services Manager, all within three years. From 1992 - 1994, he worked in another practice of Chartered Accountants called Warrener Stewart & Company, in London, as Chartered Accountant, Associate/Partner Designate.
