Roy has been a senior manager throughout his 26 years of financial services history. In 1988 he joined Pearl Assurance as an insurance agent in Northampton then after 2 years was promoted to Sales Manager and then onto a Senior Manager within the business. He was also elected to work around the country for Pearl re-viewing the working practices of their sales offices and facilitating best practices to help them improve their overall position.

He spent 13 years with Pearl before he was head hunted to recruit financial advisers with LV= in 2001. During his time with LV=, working alongside other senior managers, Roy helped build a nationwide team of 150 financial advisers.

He was also instrumental in developing and maintaining relationships with building societies such as Ipswich, Saffron Walden, Mansfield and Newbury where financial advisers provided advice for mutual members.
