Playworks Childcare

This page contains some general information about Playworks as a whole and how we operate. Playworks is a Non-Profit Organisation providing Professionally Managed Childcare & Out-of-School Activities for children at 24 schools across South Wales. We aim to Provide a professional, affordable & safe service to parents that meets the standards for childcare set out by the Government. Playworks currently employs around 100 staff across South Wales, all of our staff are screened carefully and hold a valid Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) (the new service replacing the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) & Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA).

All of our staff are trained in First Aid, Basic Food Hygiene, Child Protection, Health & Safety and Behaviour Management, in addition to this, all staff are required to complete a full induction subscribing to our comprehensive Work Policies & Procedures.
