PlayPlus is a private Nursery in Bourne End, situated between Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted which offers care for children aged from 3 months to 6 years. We provide a loving and caring "home" with emphasis on a stimulating environment wherein physical, mental and emotional skills are developed, guided by our experienced and well-qualified staff.
PlayPlus Kindergarten was established in 1989 by Mrs Clark, a qualified teacher. It has grown to a 48-place registered private nursery, situated in a converted bungalow, with a purpose-built Baby Unit and large secure gardens. PlayPlus Kindergarten has an established team of experienced and qualified staff - many of whom have been with us for over 10 years. Children enjoy plenty of mixed-age free play within a structured day.
We have Circle Times, with songs, activities, stories; an introduction to the French language; physical exercise; role play; visits from a farm; encounters with reptiles, small mammals and mini-beasts; and much, much more! All areas of learning are covered as stated in the EYFS. Children can attend half days, full days or full time, with options to suit working parents (adding breakfast, lunch or tea).
