Over the last few years, our results have risen rapidly and we are proud of our commitment to our learners and the community. We have an unshakeable belief that we can make a difference. We have high expectations of all in our community and believe that every learner can achieve beyond their expectations. We firmly believe that one's attitude is the key ingredient in achieving success regardless of background or ability.

Located in stunning new buildings in a newly landscaped site in central Stockwell, our academy is flourishing. Our message is straightforward: we believe in our motto, that attitude determines altitude in all human endeavour. Pupils at our academy are hard-working, disciplined and focused on learning.

They are being prepared for the world beyond school, to develop and achieve, to become productive members of society. Platanos College is a member of The Mayor's London Schools Gold Club for excellent schools for the second year.
