Pick a Car is owned by Phil Beaumont, who has more than 30 years' experience of selling cars. There are no high-mileage cars with over-inflated prices to pay for special offers like zero percent finance. Due to the large volume of vehicles that Pick a Car stocks and sells, the business is able to provide a range of special offers. Phil previously worked at Plaxton Bridge, where he specialised in wheelchair adapted vehicles.

This is a trend he continues at Pick a Car, with about 12 types of disabled access vehicle always in stock. The business also has, on average, around 35 low-mileage used cars in stock, usually from 1.0-litre to 1.6-litre petrol vehicles. There is also a small selection of low-mileage diesels, which are usually under 70,000 miles. Most of the cars stocked by the company have only had one or two previous owners.
