Physiotherapy @ The Birkdale Clinic

I am a Chartered physiotherapist with over 10 years experience of treating musculoskeletal conditions. I have a community background where I gained extensive experience working in GP surgeries and treating patients in their own homes. This has given me a deeper understanding of a psychosocial aspect to health. I have a special interest in acupuncture which I have been using for 9 years as an adjunct to my physiotherapy practice. I am also interested in clinical neurodynamics and regularly use nerve root mobilisation as an integral part of my treatments. I have recently attended post graduate courses with the neuro orthopaedic institute.

The practice is Bupa recognised and a preferred provider for all major insurance schemes, inc, Westfield, AXA, Aviva etc.
