Physiotherapy Connections

Andrew graduated from Teeside University in 1996 with a BSc Hons degree in Physiotherapy. Andrew worked at the Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals in London. Along side this Andrew worked part time for Chelsea Football Club looking after their reserves and youth players, and for the English National Ballet School in a dance injury clinic. In 2001 he started working full time at Chelsea Football Club where he spent 4 years as part of the medical team looking after the first team players. In 2005 he became head of Sports Medicine at Watford Football Club, where he currently works full time. He is also currently a consultant physiotherapist for the English National Ballet School.

Andrew has a special interest in sports injuries and has lectured on this area at Oxford Brookes University. He is the author of a published article on the cause of muscle injuries. It is this specialised experience and educational background which helps him in the assessment and treatment of sports injuries.
