Physiocentric

Physiocentric is the exciting evolution of The Joy Walter Clinic, a practice established in 2001, and one which has been amongst the leading providers of high quality physiotherapy in the London and Surrey areas ever since.

The seeds of the current business were sown by the eponymous Joy Walter, a New Zealand trained physiotherapist who moved to the UK in 1992, and set up her own practice 3 years later. Joy initially started the clinic from her own home in Wimbledon Village, and established a satellite clinic in the current Hinchley Wood location shortly afterwards.

Joy's skills were such that her popularity as a physiotherapist grew rapidly, and she soon acquired a patient base so expansive that she needed to develop the clinic further and find new premises. The current building in Ridgway Mews, Wimbledon Village, was identified as the perfect location and Joy was instrumental in designing the interior of what was an empty shell.
