I qualified as a physiotherapist in Manchester in 1979. My areas of specialisation are musculo-skeletal and Occupational Health Physiotherapy. In 2004 I completed an MSc in Health Ergonomics at the University of Surrey. I have been a Private Practitioner for more than twenty years after ten years in Orthopaedics and Neurology in the NHS. I am recognised by all the major insurance companies. I am based in South Kensington. I work in London and the South East as a freelance workstation assessor.

My interest in Ergonomics was motivated by the numbers of patients with work related injuries that were presenting at the clinic. Many of these injuries seemed to be related to increased computer use and time spent at a desk. It is vital to fit the job to the person and not expect the person to conform to the job/workspace.
