Wedding photography is the power to freeze a moment in time; to show the beauty in someone's smile, the sadness in someone's eyes, the love between two people, that glance across a table. If you are ever lucky enough to catch a moment of realisation or a moment of thought, words can't explain the feeling of achievement it brings. Life moves so quickly and sometimes we forget to just look.

For nearly ten years I've indulged in the art of photography and my fascination has grown very quickly. My first interaction with a "big camera" (better known as an SLR) was a friend's Nikon N60. I offered to take some pictures for their new restaurant and was instinctively able to capture emotion with composition and light. It was an exciting feeling; there is nothing quite like the moment you see light, the way it reflects and bounces and the way it can encapsulate an object with warmth and glow.
