John Mcguire is the Chairman/CEO of the award-winning Phoenix Car Company, comprising Phoenix Honda, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Suzuki, Kia, Motown, and Hyundai.

Russell Smith was recently announced as the business' new Managing Director, with Debbie Hubner promoted to the new role of Sales & Communications Director.

Originating as Phoenix Honda, this family run company commenced trading in 1993 at Phoenix Retail Park. Prior to establishing Phoenix, John McGuire gained extensive experience in the industry including sales and managerial positions with Arnold Clark and the Ian Skelly Group. Further experience was gained at Nissan UK, where he held the position of Regional Director, with responsibility for 13 sites. Phoenix Honda quickly became the UK's number one volume retailer after only 2 years in operation, and after a further 2 years, became the biggest volume retailer in Europe. 1997 - Phoenix acquired a six-acre site, adjacent to Phoenix Honda.
