Phoenix Karate School

Recently I had to do a presentation at my university and I can honestly say that if it was not for my karate practice I would not have been able to do it. Now, however, it's no problem.

I was being physically bullied and picked on at college. I began karate training to learn how to defend myself. I remember my first lesson. Shihan Kingsley told me that karate is not just about fighting and that we are learning how to fight so that we don't have to. He said if we look like a victim we will be a victim. I have not only learned how to defend myself but also I have developed self-discipline, respect, and commitment. Thank you Shihan for you encouragement and wise words.
