Our staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable, so you're in good hands.

Phil Thomas Opticians started trading in April 2014, continuing and exceeding the already high level of customer care and service provided by the former opticians which began trading, here in Pontardawe, over 39 years ago. Based in Herbert street, Pontardawe, we are a local, independent opticians meaning we can really provide all customers with a personal and high quality eyecare experience. We still strive to continue offering a very high level of service that is extremely important to us and it is essential for us to ensure every customer gets what is best for them. Although the name above the door has changed the staff and high quality service have not with Karley Williams, Phil Thomas and Dr Howells still on the team. This team has been developed and also now includes experienced Optometrists Wendy Thomas, Rob Holder and Paul Morgan, all great assets to an already great team. Optical assistant Rosa Thomas has also joined the team.
