Peter Consistently Falconer (b. 1982) is a sound artist, composer and musician based in the UK. Born in Hartlepool, Co. Durham, he now lives in Surrey, and is working towards a PhD in Music Composition at the University of Southampton.
His PhD research aims to produce a series of artefacts documenting the history of a mysteriously abandoned County Durham seaside resort called Seaton Snook. This will take in the area's history as a tourist destination, a centre of industry, and a forgotten community of sea-coalers and houseboat dwellers, from its establishment in medieval times to its sinister vanishing in the late 1960s. Visit the archive in progress here at seatonsnook.com.​Previous compositions have been performed in shows by Proxima Dance Company, and by choreographers Anna Guzak, Rhiannon Bromley and Agata Olszewska. Film soundtracks include works by Videorats, Oli Mason, and Timothy Gaer.​His songs have been published in the US and Europe, and have been used in various short films. He is currently working on tracks for a downtempo/trip-hop project for 2020.
