Padgett White: Architects Limited was established in 2002 and traded as Christopher Padgett: Architect Limited until December 2012. The new trading name reflected the development of the practice and the role played by John White. The company traded with Directors Chris Padgett and John White until the end of December 2015 when Chris Padgett retired from the practice. John White has over 15 years experience as a principal in private practice, and will continue to drive the practice forward with the long established team. Both John White and Leanne Pratt are members of the RIBA and are registered Architects; furthermore Padgett White: Architects Limited is a RIBA Chartered Practice.
Our portfolio comprises of domestic, hotel and leisure, retail, commercial and industrial projects. These projects vary from modest extensions/alterations to existing buildings, to complete new builds; and from modern buildings, to those with significant historical and/or architectural importance. Director John White is an accredited RIBA Conservation Registrant; as well as holding the position of the approved Quinquennial Inspector for a number of Churches within the Diocese of Durham.
