P.K. Bahri is a highly qualified Ophthalmic Optician with over 25 years of experience. He graduated from Glasgow in 1983 with a First Class Honours degree. Amongst his numerous Postgraduate qualifications he holds a Fellowship of the College of Optometry in the UK and a Fellowship of the American Academy of Optometry. In 1986 he acquired his first Practice in Woodford Green and then went on to set up another Practice in Upminster in 1991.

He has experience in both Community based Practice and Hospital Ophthalmology departments.
He has worked at Moorfield's Eye hospital, Whipps Cross hospital, Queen's hospital, King George hospital and the Institute of Optometry in London. P.K. Bahri was one of the first Ophthalmic Opticians in the UK to become an Independent Prescriber. This means that he is able to diagnose and treat many eye conditions.
