Oxley Conservation

Oxley Conservation is an historic buildings consultancy established in 1997 by Richard Oxley, a qualified Chartered Surveyor. We offer a broad spectrum of consultancy services to owners and custodians of all types of old buildings which go beyond traditional building surveys and encompass project management, specification and supervision of conservation repairs, design, environmental assessments as well as planning, listed building and grant funding applications. We are dedicated to sustaining traditional buildings through appropriate and sympathetic repair whilst still respecting each building's individual nature and special qualities.

We believe that we have a responsibility to future generations to look after what we have inherited. Our aims are set out in full in our Code of Practice. Our surveying and consultancy services cover traditional buildings of many types including scheduled, listed and unlisted, polite, vernacular, residential, commercial, sacred and agricultural.
