Oxford Brick Art was started in the summer of 2014 by me, Alastair Howard. My background is in science and education, but pop-art and Lego have always been a passion of mine. My aim is to create pieces of art using Lego tiles, which offer bold and bright colours and a unique texture. I use only genuine Lego pieces, mounted on Lego baseplates, with a solid wood backing to ensure rigidity. Oxford Brick Art mosaics have been featured in the Oxford Mail and Oxford Times newspapers. Personalised mosaics can be created from images that you send me.
I also work in partnership with Focus Of Life photography for toddler groups. If you have a family photo shoot and want to turn one of your images into a mosaic, that is an option on their website. Focus Of Life also provide the high quality images of the mosaics that are used to make the prints and cards.
