Organic Matters was started in 2001 by Mark Haddock BSc (Hons) Env. Mark gained his first chainsaw user certificates in 1988 whilst at University and worked on large country estates as a groundsman assisting with the arboricultural (tree surgery) work and working in prestigious country house gardens. The business has grown over the years expanding early on from garden maintenance contracts to tree surgery and landscaping.
Organic Matters is a company which offers Tree Surgery and Landscape services. We have separate specialized teams delivering tree surgery, hard & soft landscaping and garden maintenance services. Based in the Lewes and Brighton area we undertake work in all parts of East and West Sussex, Surrey and West Kent. We have been established since 2001 and rely primarily on recommendation for our work.
