Orchid Yoga

I have been practising yoga for over 20 years now and I am excited to be teaching Hatha yoga classes in Gloucester. I am also a qualified NLP practitioner and Life Coach. I am qualified as an Advanced Yoga teacher and Children's Yoga Teacher with the British School of Yoga and Starchild Yoga. I have also completed the Mastery of Yoga Teacher's Training Program. The general format of a Yoga class begins with relaxation and breathing exercises. After that we will do some stretching exercises to release muscles and areas of tension in the body. We then work through a variety of poses (known as asanas) - some standing, some sitting, some lying on your back, on your front or on hands and knees etc. There will also be some meditation or visualisation work. Each term we will work on a different theme, for example twists or inch loss. Yoga is a very inclusive activity and can be easily adapted to suit all ages and abilities.
