Orchard Professional Computer Services Ltd was founded in 1999, and has been based in Mitcheldean in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire since that date. It was founded as a training company, based on experience from decades of work in corporate business. We realised that although every company uses IT to a large degree, most struggle to keep their staff trained in the software that runs their business. The potential efficiency gains in any company are therefore huge, for staff who are comfortable with their day-to-day software. Our motivation is that "light bulb" moment, when delegates on our courses discover something new that is going to make their jobs so much easier. Because we have come from the world of business, our courses are aimed squarely at making life simpler for everyone, so that delegates can go back to work and apply what they have learned, and concentrate on their work, not the software.
