Open Door Properties

Open Door Properties started in 1988 when we developed and managed property converted from larger buildings into individual letting units. Through our image branding the name and identity of Open Door Properties became known in land and property development circles and at the time, our recognition in this sector was rapid. Once project work was under way Open Door Properties proceeded with it's plans to open higher profile outlets in the U.K. The success of this is now being followed by phase two of business development through the medium of Franchising. The first Open Door Properties' main road outlet was opened in Kendal, the home town of the founder of the company, whose grandfather's stone masonry business built some of the older houses in the area. For example, homes that were required in Burneside by James Cropper, the paper mill owner and former Lord Lieutenant of Westmorland.
