Old Castle Farm

Brecon, or Aberhonddu as it is known in Welsh is an historic market town in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Ancient Britons, Romans and Normans have each left their mark on Brecon. Brecon boasts a cathedral, theatre, cinema, castle ruins, and a range of restaurants and shops.

We are a family run guest house half a mile from the historic market town centre of Brecon. The house is an old farmhouse which dates back to the 1800's and still has original beams in some of the rooms. We are a 3 Star guest house which has been established for over 50 years.

All our rooms are en-suite and have TV, with TV/DVD's in the family rooms, radio, tea and coffee making facilities. We can accommodate upto 24 people so if you are a large group looking for a relaxing break I'm sure we could meet your needs.

Our guest lounge is located to the front of the building on the ground floor and offers comfy seating with original features, such as beams and an open fire, visitor information and local guides. To the rear of the building we have a spacious breakfast room with a good choice of full Welsh breakfast or vegetarian options. Served in the dining room between 08:00 and 09:00 daily. If you need an early breakfast, let us know in advance and we will be happy to accommodate your needs.
