Nova Wedding Photography is me (Katherine) and my husband Steve. We have been fortunate enough to photograph beautiful weddings across Devon, Somerset and Cornwall for the past seven years. We’d describe our style as documentary - uncontrived, unobtrusive and creative, 'story-telling' photography. We want our images to tell the genuine story of your wedding day as it really happens.
Our natural, reportage approach means we are best suited to couples who are planning to have a relaxed and informal wedding where the emphasis is on sharing their wedding with close friends and family, not worrying too much about tradition but preferring to put their own stamp on the day. Thats not to say we won't offer direction and help when needed - we often get involved in helping with buttonholes, fixing veils in place and rounding up guests, orchestrating the greatest confetti shot on earth etc... And we're always happy to offer guidance on the day and in the lead up. We've photographed over 300 weddings now (yikes!) so have lots of wedding 'do's and don'ts' we're happy to share with you!
Steve and I very often work together as a team of two primary photographers but also enjoy shooting weddings on our own or with an assistant.
