Nottinghamshire Driving School (NDS) has over a hundred years of combined instructor driving experience.
Based on the Colwick Industry Estate, NDS is part of Radford Holdings Ltd, which includes RAD Document Storage, Thomas Long Property, Thomas Long Transport, Thomas Long & Sons Builders and Rotajet. Established in 1878.
The Executive Manager Alan McClean has 30 years’ experience in training and driving all types of vehicles, whilst working in the armed forces in Northern Ireland, driving armoured Land Rovers and high-powered vehicles under emergency conditions in Iraq and Afghanistan. He has also accumulated 8 years’ experience in the Nottinghamshire Fire Service. NDS first aid trainers have also served in the armed forces as medics.
Our driving instructors are experienced in driving all types of LGV / HGV vehicles and have held positions of Transport and Logistics Managers. Not forgetting our team of trainers for Forklift, Cherry Pickers HI-AB and First Aid, they too have vast experience in their fields.
