Nightingale is part of the Shine Group, a cleaning and support services company operating mainly in Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, the Midlands and London regions. The business supports a wide range of Clients in both the Public and Private sectors, covering a variety of building types and service requirements. Contracts can range from stand alone, to large multi site arrangements. Over recent years Nightingale has become established as one of the most prominent contractors in the region employing an extensive team of part time cleaners, as well as a large team of mobile full-time area managers, supervisors and operatives.

Meticulous planning, proactive management and effective communication are all clearly fundamental. We believe that the key to the successful delivery of our contracts is the application of an experienced management team assigned to deliver clients’ specific needs. All contracts are ultimately headed by our Regional Operations Manager, but with the day to day cleaning supervision managed by one of our Area Contracts Managers. This management group works very closely with the cleaning staff as well as liaising with our Head Office Co-ordinators. Between them they ensure that all operational matters are professionally handled and that periodic work is efficiently scheduled. Area Contracts Managers also track the quality of work, and meet with clients on a regular basis to discuss any issues and proposed actions.
