Ng Gar Tien Wing Chun

Wing Chun is a close quarter Chinese martial art that dates back over three hundred years and has its roots in the Shaolin temple. It is very well suited for self-defence usage and, as it does not rely on extreme athleticism or flexibility, can be practiced well into old age.

Wing Chun is primarily a stand up art and practitioners like to stay on their feet engaging with strikes (punches, palms, elbows, knees and kicks) as the primary means of attack. The effectiveness of Wing Chun has not gone unnoticed by National Special Forces, Bodyguards and Anti-terrorist Units; it has been adopted by, amongst others: F.B.I Hostage Rescue Team, Marine Corps (U.S.A), GSG9 & SEK (Germany), RAID (France), NOCS (Italy), GIP (Luxembourg) along with Special Police Units of Spain, Belgium, Austria and India.
