Inspected annually by the AA, whose inspectors have rigorous training, Newton House is the only Four Gold Star Guest House in Knaresborough (we are not a four-star Hotel but many of our guests think that we are!). Newton House, a wonderful 300-year-old townhouse is situated in the centre of the charming historic market town of Knaresborough. Behind the Georgian façade on the main road, and looking like a typical 18th-century townhouse, is a hidden gem, Drive through the archway to our courtyard car park (we are so lucky to be able to offer some free parking in the middle of town) to enter a world of mystery and romance from secret passages, to intriguing stories of a by-gone era.
