Newmarket Physiotherapy

Susan Sriskandan qualified as a physiotherapist at Kings College Hospital, London in 1982, and having worked at the Westminster Hospital for seven years, moved to work in the Out-Patients department in Newmarket Hospital in 1989. Over her 28 years of working in Newmarket she has managed the musculoskeletal physiotherapy service, and continues to work two days a week in the NHS, working as an extended Scope Physiotherapist in the Addenbrookes Physiotherapy department in Cambridge. In addition to being a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy since 1982, she became a member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MMACP) in 1990, and gained her MSc. in Physiotherapy in 2007. She is a member of the Health Professions Council, and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.Kumar Sriskandan qualified as a doctor from Cambridge University in 1982 and moved to Newmarket in 1989 to become a GP partner and trainer at the Rookery Medical Centre, where he worked for 23 years. He retired from medical practice in 2012 to be Practice Manager at Newmarket Physiotherapy, and follow his keen interest in photography.
