Newlands Physiotherapy

Kath qualified in 1993 from Glasgow Caledonian University and has been in private practice at Newlands Physiotherapy since 2001. She has specialised in Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Conditions / Injuries since 1996, completing courses in Orthopaedic Medicine, Musculoskeletal Acupuncture, Pilates etc. She also completed a Master's Degree in Sports & Exercise Medicine, graduating from Glasgow University in 2001. Kath has worked for the Scottish Rugby Union since 2000, looking after the Scotland U21 squad until 2006, and then the Scotland Women's team until 2009. She has also been involved with the SportScotland Institute of Sport (2004-2009) and has travelled with the Women's Hockey and Judo programmes. As well as many years expertise in Sports Injuries, Kath also has a keen interest in the treatment & management of Osteoarthritis and other chronic joint conditions.
