Stephen started his career as an Architectural Technician, after many years of being stuck in an office he realised he was much more practical and would much prefer to be the one building the houses, rather than drawing them! Stephen carried out his apprenticeship with a small builder where he learned valuable lessons on all aspects of the building industry. During this time he made the decisions to draw up plans for a new build property in the garden of his home.
It was during this time that Stephen formed a working relationship with his childhood friend Keith. Keith Started in the building industry on the day of his 16th Birthday, straight from school! Working with a large building firm gave Keith an excellent understanding of the running of larger projects.
