Nest was initially set up by Lucy in 2003 and became a partnership when Ceri joined in 2011. My background is in International Studies & Languages which I studied way back when at Leeds University. I then went on to work in Internet Communications in London, gaining valuable experience in managing customer and supplier relations, project management and running teams.
Nest was initially set up by Lucy in 2003 and became a partnership when Ceri joined in 2011. My background is in International Studies & Languages which I studied way back when at Leeds University. I then went on to work in Internet Communications in London, gaining valuable experience in managing customer and supplier relations, project management and running teams. Having made the decision to turn a long-standing interest in Interiors into a career, I retrained in Interior Design & Decoration at Chelsea College of Arts and have never looked back.
Over 10 years later and I still feel very lucky to have a job I love. Our projects are so varied, working with different clients and contractors all the time means there is always something new to learn and there is never a dull day. Outside of work, I live in Sale with my husband, two children, a neurotic tabby and a newly acquired puppy. We are usually found on walks, in the park or on the sidelines of my son's football team.
