Mr. Scarecrow's Attic

Mr. Scarecrow's Attic is a family business run by me - Nadeem, my wife - Rowan and our son Robert, who has recently joined us in the business, which we are very happy about. What started as a second hand shop in 1998 has evolved into well, something rather different! We both genuinely love old, well made furniture and are always on the lookout for new pieces. On a trip to visit family in Nottingham we found a beautiful European dresser with bottle green glass doors.

It was touch and go whether we could fit our luggage in as well for the trip back. We are constantly looking for new ideas, be it from design and interior magazines, Camden market or YouTube. One of our proudest moments, was when a family who'd been customers for long time, came with their daughter, now a young lady, to buy bedroom furniture to replace the hand stripped oak bedroom set she'd had 12 years previously.
