Richard’s career into physiotherapy soon began in 1998 after having had a professional football career with Huddersfield Town AFC cut short due to a serious knee injury.Since graduating, Richard has worked in varied clincal settings within the NHS and private practice specialising in musculoskeletal injuries. He developed a particular interest of sporting injuries whilst working for Sheffield Wednesday Football Club before working extensively across Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust and private practice.Completion of a Post Graduate Certificate at The University of Bradford in 2010 has led his further interest in the assessment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal shoulder pain and spinal conditions.
